Updating the App

1. Update CMMS App on Android.

1.1 Update the CMMS Technician App from the Google Play Store.

  • Open the Google Play Store app .
  • Tap on (Three horizontal lines icon) on the top left of the view.
  • Select ‘My apps and games’
  • Select the ‘UPDATES’ option (it may be on this option already)
  • Apps with an update available are labelled "Update."
  • Tap ‘Update’ on the CBC CMMS Technician App to update to the latest version.

1.2 To enable automatic update apps on your Android device:

  • Open the Google Play Store app.
  • Tap on (three horizontal lines icon) on the screen.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap Auto-update apps.
  • Select an option: Auto update apps at any time to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data. Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi. Auto-updating is a user preference not related directly to the CBC CMMS Technician App and will likely result in other apps on your device being updated. CBC take no responsibility for issues arising from updating other apps.

2. Update CMMS App on iOS Device.

2.1 Update the CMMS Technician App from the Apple App Store.

  • Open App store .
  • Tap on ‘Updates’ option (located at the bottom of the screen) to review the updates available.
  • Tap ‘Update’ on CBC CMMS Technician App to update to the latest version.

2.2 To enable automatic update apps on your iOS device:

  • Tap Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
  • Turn on the content that you want to automatically download. Auto-updating is a user preference not related directly to the CBC CMMS Technician App and will likely result in other apps on your device being updated. CBC take no responsibility for issues arising from updating other apps.

3. How to tell if the CBC CMMS Technician App is updated

From the Menu View, if you do not see the ‘Notifications’ menu option, you do not yet have the latest version.

  • The version number will be displayed inside the app. Include this when raising a support ticket
